STEP 1 : Drawing flowers on card paper

• We are going to make the card with Tri Colour layered flowers for the occasion of Republic Day. • Take an A3 paper, draw few small to big flowers on it.

STEP 2 : Cutting the outline of the flowers

• Cut along the outlines of the flowers neatly with the pair of scissors.

STEP 3 : Making green and orange flowers

• Similarly cut the flowers from orange and green coloured card papers.

STEP 4 : Sticking the layers together

• Take each flower and pinch it on each of the petal to create dimension. • Stick the flowers in layers using Fevicol A+. • Let it dry completely. • Refer to the image.

STEP 5 : Drawing Ashok Chakra

• Take an A3 white card paper. • Draw and paint few small and big wheels to depict the Ashok Chakra from the Indian Tri Colour Flag. • Let it dry. • Cut along the outlines of the wheels neatly.

STEP 6 : Completing the flowers

• Stick each wheel in the centre of the flower with Fevicol A+. • Let it dry.

STEP 7 : Typography

• Take Off-White paper. • Mark and cut the paper measuring 6 ½” x 10” in size. • Write “Happy Republic Day” on one side of the paper. • Paint the letters with 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Blue 702. • Let it dry.

STEP 8 : Making the Republic Day card

• Take an A3 brown card paper. • Fold the paper in the centre to make the card.

STEP 9 : Finishing the Republic Day card

• Stick the off-white card paper on the brown card paper with Fevicol A+. • Leave it to dry. • Arrange and stick the layered tri colour flowers aesthetically on the card with Fevicol A+. • Leave it to dry completely. Republic Day card is ready!
