Description :
Bring the festive spirit of Diwali to your home with a beautiful, reusable rangoli! This project uses transparent glass colours and a pearl metallic outliner on an OHP sheet to create a stunning design that can be used year after year. It's a fun and easy way to add a pop of colour and traditional art to your celebrations.
STEP 1 : Outline Your Design
- On a piece of OHP sheet, use a pencil and tracing paper to sketch your rangoli design.
- Carefully trace the outlines of your design with Fevicryl 3D Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
- Let the outliner dry completely.
- This creates raised walls that will hold your glass colours.
STEP 2 : Fill with Glass Colours
- Once the gold outlines are fully dry, take your Fevicryl Glass Colours and carefully fill in the sections of your design.
- The colours will spread to fill the space, creating a beautiful stained-glass effect.
STEP 3 : Cut and Assemble
- After all the colours have dried completely, use scissors to carefully cut out the different shapes of your rangoli design.
- Take your smaller shapes and stick them in the center of the larger one using Fevicryl Fabric Glue to create a complete rangoli pattern.
STEP 4 : Add Embellishments
- Use different colour combinations to make your design vibrant and lively.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Stick the cutouts
- To give your rangoli a festive glow, stick small white pearls onto the golden outlines with Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
- This adds a beautiful finishing touch and makes the colours stand out even more.
STEP 6 : Final Look
- Place a diya (lamp) in the center of your new rangoli.
- It's a stunning, handmade decoration perfect for the festive season!
