Diy Shoe Shape Mobile Stand

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, White 27, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Rolling Pin, Clay Carving Tools, Paper Cutter, Pencil, White Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container, Scissors, Cobbler Thread.

Here is a quirky table accessory for men! A shoe shaped mobile holder. This can be used as a card holder or an ashtray too. Made using Fevicryl Mouldit clay and easy clay modelling techniques, this one is sure to catch some eyeballs!

STEP 1 : Mixing the Mouldit clay
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Rolling the Mouldit clay
• Take the dough and roll it to make the medium thin oval shaped slab with rolling pin. • Let it get semi dry.
STEP 3 : Making the base
• Mark the outline of the base of the shoe on the slab. • Cut along the outlines of the slab neatly.
STEP 4 : Making the structure and painting it
• Take the dough ball roll it to make the medium thin slab to make the walls of the shoes. • Let the slab get semi dry. • Mark and cut the walls of the shoes. Attach and stick the walls with little amount of Fabric Glue and some clay. • Make sure that make the holes for the shoe lace with clay carving tools • Keeps some support against the shoe walls from the inside using some newspaper. Let it dry. • Paint the shoe with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27 and a second coat with Burnt Sienna 01 and Black 02. Let it dry • Make the design on the surface of the shoes and paint it with Acrylic Colour Black 02. • Similarly paint the cobbler thread with Acrylic Colour Black 02. Let it dry. • Lace the thread through the shoes to make it look more realistic.
