Handmade Key Holder Platter
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, White 27, Sap Green 21, Cerulean Blue 32 , Fevicryl Mouldit, Fine Art Brushes, Clay Carving Tools, Rolling Pin, Ruler, Pencil, Paper Cutter, Colour Palette, Water Container
STEP 1 : Mixing the Mouldit clay
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Roll the dough
• Take the dough ball and roll it to make a medium thin slab with rolling pin.
• Let it get semi dry.
STEP 3 : Moulding the dough
• Draw and cut a circle measuring 5” diameter in size.
• Take a plastic bowl to use it as a mould. Make sure that the bowl should be only slightly shallow. Refer to the image.
• Place the rolled slab inside the bowl.
• Let it semi dry and remove the circular platter from the plastic bowl.
STEP 4 : Making the cityscape
• Draw the outlines of the city scape on the circular wall of the platter. Cut along the outlines neatly with paper cutter.
• Let it dry completely.
STEP 5 : Painting the platter
• Paint the platter with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, White 27, Sap Green 21 and Cerulean Blue 32.
STEP 6 : Typography
• Draw and paint the quote “keys to the world” in the centre of the platter with Acrylic Colour Black o2.
• Let it dry.
