STEP 1 : Painting the base
• Take an A4 paper; draw few Madhubani motifs in the size of the periphery of the kettle. • Take the kettles, paint the kettles with the primer and a base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. • Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 2 : Tracing the design
• Trace the Madhubani motifs in repetitive manner on the walls of one of the kettles.
STEP 3 : Painting the Madhubani motifs
• Paint both the kettles with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Golden Yellow 03, Crimson 04, , White 27, teal blue 68, Acrylic Colours Neon Yellow 011, Green 012, Orange 017 and Pink 018. • Leave it to dry completely. • Paint the lid of the kettles using Acrylic Colours Neon Yellow 011, Orange 017 and Pink 018 respectively. • Wind the jute yarn on the handles of both the kettles using Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry.
