Fevicryl 3 D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter Silver 402, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colour Kit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Canvas Sheet, Recycled CD, Scissors, Pencil, A4 Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Ornamental Stones (Yellow, White, Red), Colourful Beads, Peacock Feather, Thread (Golden, Silver).

STEP 1
Making the base of Matka door dangler • Take recyclable CDs to make decorative matka dangler for the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. • Take 2 CD’s, cut one CD in crescent moon shape to depict the rim and the neck part of the matka/pot. • How do we cut a CD? Bigger shapes can be cut with the help of a sharp scissors. If we have to cut smaller shapes we can heat the CD slightly by dipping it in hot water and then cut.
STEP 2
Putting it together Stick the crescent moon CD on the round CD in such a way that it will look like pot with the help of Fabric Glue. • Let it dry.
STEP 3
Making the base for painting the Matka door dangler • Take a canvas sheet, mark and cut the pot shape as per the size of the CD pot. • Refer to the image.
STEP 4
Drawing the design for Matka door dangler • Take an A4 paper; draw a pot in the size of the CD pot. • Draw an ornamental design on the pot. • Trace the same design on the cutout of the canvas pot with yellow carbon paper. Refer to the image.
STEP 5
Outlining the Matka door dangler • Outline the design with 3 D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter Silver 402. • Let it dry.
STEP 6
Painting the design • Paint the design with water based glass colours of your choice. • Let it dry
STEP 7
Putting Matka door hanging together • Enhance the matkas by sticking a few Yellow, White and Red Coloured Ornamental Stones with Fabric Glue. • Take some cotton and stick it on the rim of the matkas to depict the butter, using Fabric Glue. Let it dry • Take silver thread and pass it through the colourful beads and make two strands for dangling the matkas. • Dangle the decorative matka design along with the bead strands and the peacock feather.
