STEP 1
Getting started with Jagannath wall hanging – Doing primer.
Take 3 MDF round wooden pieces measuring 6” each, in diameter.
• Paint the placemat with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Why we have to do a primer? It is to help smoothen and fill the pores in the surface. It is easier to paint on a primed surface.
• Let it dry.
STEP 2
Drawing the design for Jagannath wall hanging
Take A3 papers; draw 3 circles in the size of the round pieces.
• Draw faces of Jagannatha, Balaram and Subhadra in each circle.
• Trace the same on the painted placemat with yellow carbon paper.
STEP 3
Painting the faces for Jagannath wall hanging
Paint the faces of Jagannatha, Balaram and Subhadra with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, White 27 and Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Refer to the image.
• Let it dry.
• After drying enhance the jewellery with 3 D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Pearl White 301, Cherry Red 316 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
• Let it dry.
STEP 4
Putting it all together
Take the gold and red ribbons; stick the red ribbon on the golden ribbon with Fabric Glue.
