A simple DIY for diwali home décor. This Diya toran with simple canvas sheet and sparkling colours will enhance your home one the festival of lights.
We are going to make the diya toran using canvas sheet in shape of diya. Take canvas sheet, draw diya shapes on it. Refer to the image.
Paint the outline of the diya with Fevicryl 3D Outliner Pearl Cherry Red 316. Let it dry.
Paint the diya design using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Sparkling Pearl Poppy Red 901, Emerald Green 908, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colour Golden Yellow and Orange. Let it dry.
Cut along the outlines of each diya with a pair of the scissors. Refer to the image. Make 5 such diyas.
Take assorted beads, tassels to make the beaded strand. Take golden lace, stick the diyas and stick it on equal distance using Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Attach the beaded strand in between the diyas. Your toran with diyas will look like this.
