You can check out the art & craft products offered by us in the Catalogue section of the page. This DIY is mainly made using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Colours, Fine art brushes and winnowing baskets.
STEP 1 : Painting the Winnowing basket
• We are going to paint the cow head on the Winnowing basket for Pongal.
• Take an A4 sized white paper and draw a cow head on it.
• Take the small sized Winnowing basket; paint it with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 2 : Tracing the design on winnowing basket
• Trace the cow design with yellow carbon paper on the rear side of the Winnowing basket.
STEP 3 : Painting the design on winnowing basket
• Paint the design with Acrylic Colours Black 02, White 27, Neon Yellow 011, Green 012 and Orange 017.
• Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Painting the doodle
• Paint the doodle design on the cow head with Acrylic Colour Black 02.
• Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Finishing the edges
• Paint the edge of the Winnowing basket with Acrylic colour Neon Green 012
• Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Enhancing the design
• Paint the zig-zag pattern design and the outline of the cow head with 3D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter Gold 401.
• Leave it to dry completely.
