Learn quilling paper craft with this detailed step-by-step tutorial. The art of quilling is easy to learn. This quilling craft DIY design is a beautiful frame which can be used to decorate your home. Giant quilling papers make a beautiful frame around simple gold and white quote art.

STEP 1

Gather supplies of ornate and beige cardstock papers, Fevicol MR(Craft glue), cutting mat, craft knife, ruler, pencil, pinboard, straight pins and quote art mounted to heavy cardboard.

STEP 2

Cut 15 strips of ornate paper, 1 inch wide x 15 inches long.

STEP 3

Cut 15 strips of beige paper, 1 inch wide x 15 inches long.

STEP 4

Create 14 scrolled coils with ornate papers. Glue and pin to pinboard until dry.

STEP 5

Create a 3-point coil with ornate paper, and a 1-point coil with beige paper. Glue and pin to pinboard until dry.

STEP 6

Assemble ornate scrolled coils around sides and top of quote art that has been glued to heavy cardboard. Glue and pin in place until dry.

STEP 7

Glue beige coils inside scrolled coils. Glue pointed coils to top of frame in the center. Pin in place until dry. Remove pins to complete.

STEP 8

Ornate and beige cardstock papers, craft glue, cutting mat, craft knife, ruler, pencil, pinboard, straight pins and quote art mounted to heavy cardboard.
