You Will Need:

Fevicryl Pastel Acrylic Colour (Pack of 10 shades), Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicol MR, Old Ceramic Mug, Clay Modelling Tools, Paint Brush, Colour Palette, Water Container.

This repurposed cup transforms into a whimsical planter, adding a touch of charm to your space. Adorable fish shapes crafted from clay playfully adorn its surface. A unique and creative way to display your small plants. 

STEP 1 : Procure the base
  • This is an old ceramic mug repurposed as a new stylish planter for your home.
  • Take an old ceramic mug and clean it fully with tissue or cloth.
STEP 2 : Prepare the clay
  • Take Fevicryl Mouldit, resin and hardener, mix well to make the dough even.
  • Cover the entire mug with clay.
  • When it’ semi dry, form fins, eyes and lips of the fish differently and stick it to the base of the body using Fevicol MR.
  • Let it dry.
  • Refer to the image.
STEP 3 : Paint the mug
  • Paint the base coat using Fevicryl Pastel Acrylic Colour White 27.
  • Start painting the design with pastel shades to give it a soft aquatic smooth touch.
  • Pick Fevicryl Pastel Acrylic Colours and start painting the design.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Add Finishing details
  • Once the base colour is done, take a zero number brush and paint the details of fish’s body.
  • Let dry.
STEP 5 : Final Look
  • This is your repurposed fish planter for your plant babies.
