Evil Eye Bottle

STEP 1 : Take a plain bottle
  • We are going to make the evil eye on the bottle with Mouldit.
  • Take a plain glass bottle.
STEP 2 : Paint the base coat
  • Paint the bottle with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Paint the second coat
  • Paint the bottle with second coat of light blue made by mixing Sky Blue 63 and White 27.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Mix Mouldit
  • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 5 : Roll the dough and make small eyes out of it
  • Take the dough, roll it to make the round shape like cookie measuring 2 ½” approximately in size.
  • Similarly make the small evil eyes out of the slab.
STEP 6 : Paint the eyes
  • Paint the evil eye motifs with a base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
  • Let it dry.
  • Paint the evil eye with Water Based Glass Colours Black, Ultramarine Blue and White.
  • Leave it to dry.
STEP 7 : Paint the toothpicks
  • Take a few toothpicks, mark and cut to maintain the length.
  • Paint the toothpick with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Assembly
  • Paint the toothpick and the golden wavy lines on the bottle with Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry.
  • Stick the small evil eye at the end of the tooth pick with Fabric Glue.
  • Let it dry.
  • Stick the evil eye in the centre of the bottle with little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue.
  • Leave it to dry.
