Fevicryl Acrylic Pearl Metallic - Gold 352, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Hobby Ideas Glitter Foam Sheets - Orange and Green, Scissors, Sponge, Fevicol MR, Mount Board, Pencil, Eraser, Canvas Roll (cylindrical)

An interesting decoration idea for Independence Day can be this pen stand that kids can make and proudly display them on their desks. Conduct this an as a hobby activity for classroom decoration for Independence Day with a group of children of all ages as it being quite simple. A rather unique way using recycled material as decoration ideas for Independence Day.
STEP 1
Take a cylindrical canvas roll and cut out 5” for the pen / pencil holder.
STEP 2
Also take a mount board and cut a circle appropriate enough for the base of the pen / pencil holder.
STEP 3
Stick the mount board base towards the bottom part of the canvas roll using Fevicol MR and paint it with Fevicryl Acrylic Pearl Metallic Colour – Gold 352. Leave it to dry.
STEP 4
Paint the 5” cut cylindrical canvas roll both from outside and inside using Fevicryl Acrylic Pearl Metallic Colour - Gold 352. Leave it to dry.
STEP 5
Take A4 sized orange and green glitter foam sheets. Cut about 1/3rd of the foam sheets.
STEP 6
Cut random mosaic shapes from the glitter foam sheets.
STEP 7
To represent our National flag's tri colour, start sticking the orange mosaic pieces keeping gaps in between them to get a mosaic effect. Keep a blank area in the centre and start sticking the green cut mosaic pieces using Fevicol MR.
STEP 8
Your pen / pencil holder with our National flag's tri colours is ready
