Upcycle waste things lying around you and convert them into a piece of art. Make these beautiful coasters with used CD’s painted with Madhubani Art design on them.
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- Take any used CDs.
- We are going to make coasters using CDs with Madhubani Art design on them.
STEP 2 : Paint the base coat
- Paint them with a base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Draw and trace the design
- Take A4 white paper, draw the Madhubani Art design in the size of the CD.
- We have used Fish and Lotus motifs.
- Trace the same motifs on the CD with yellow carbon paper.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
- Paint the design with Acrylic Colour Black 02, White 27 and with Pastel Colours from the kit of your choice.
- Let them dry.
STEP 5 : Final look
- Your CD coasters are ready.
- You can apply mat finish varnish spray on the coasters to secure the design.
