Bird Dangler

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours White 27, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Red 701, Yellow 703, Light Green 704, Orange 705, Black 708, Neon Pink 712, Fevicryl Glass Colours Kit, Fine Art Brushes, Corrugated Sheet, Paper Cutter, Pencil, Assorted Colourful Beads, Black Wool, Scissors, Natural Wooden Stick, Colour Palette, Water Container

Decorate your kids' room with their own creations using this dangler. Help your kids to learn and make this beautiful dangler inspired by Gond Art. 

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take a corrugated sheet, mark and cut 5 to 6 birds out of it, mark a circle on the body of the bird and cut the circle.  

STEP 2 : Paint the base coat

Paint them with a basecoat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry. 

STEP 3 : Paint the outline

Draw and define the body parts of the bird like the wings, tail and neck. Paint the outline with Fevicryl 3D Outliner Black 708. Let it dry. 

STEP 4 : Paint the birds with colours

Paint the birds with Fevicryl Glass Colours of your choice. Make sure that you use bright colours. let it dry. 

STEP 5 : Create the patterns

Replicate the Gond Art style dotted line design on the birds using Fevicryl 3D Outliner Red 701, Yellow 703, Light Green 704, Orange 705, Black 708 and Neon Pink 712. Let it dry.  

STEP 6 : Make the attachments

Take the black wool and the colourful beads to create the beaded strand. Attach the beaded strand to the birds along with the black woolen tassel towards the bottom of each bird.  

STEP 7 : Final look

Attach the beaded strand with the bird to the stick. Your bird dangler with the corrugated sheet is ready.
