Decorate wooden rings with tropical leaves and handmade dragonflies using Fevicryl Mouldit and vibrant Fevicryl Acrylic Colours. This advanced project combines painting and clay modeling to create unique home decor pieces.
STEP 1 : Preparing the Rings
- Decorate wooden rings with dragonflies using Fevicryl Mouldit.
- Take two thick wooden rings.
STEP 2 : Paint the Basecoat
- Paint the rings with a basecoat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Black 02.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Painting the Leaves
- Paint tropical leaves on the rings in layers with different shades of green and yellow by mixing Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Sap Green 21, White 27, Leaf Green 62, Sky Blue 63, and Greenery 67.
- Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Finished Painted Rings
- Your painted rings should look like this.
STEP 5 : Making the Dragonflies
- Make dragonflies with Mouldit. Mix Mouldit resin base and hardener thoroughly to form an even dough.
STEP 6 : Shaping the Dragonflies
- Shape the dough into dragonflies using clay carving tools and Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Painting the Dragonflies
- Draw and paint the dragonflies with an ornamental design on their bodies using Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Orange 17, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Greenery 67, and Pearl Pink 303.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 8 : Attaching the Dragonflies
- Stick the dragonflies on the wooden ring with Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry completely.
