You Will Need:

Fevicryl Shilpkar, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black 02. Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold 352, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, talcum powder, toothpick

Hand modelled antique shoepiece to add charm to the home decor
STEP 1
Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix resin and hardener evenly to form even dough. You can sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.
STEP 2
Take shilpkar dough and roll it into a thick pillar like shape of approximately size of a finger. Leave to harden.
STEP 3
To create base, take shilpkar dough and roll it in long coil, Sprinkle some talcum powder on floor and shape the coil in circular or pinwheel pattern. Refer picture. Press and stick the pillar in center of the base using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue while the base is still soft. Leave to harden.
STEP 4
To make the head, take shilpkar dough and roll it in a ball. Press and stick the head on the pillar using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Leave to semi set for 10 to 15 minutes. Then shape the facial features like nose and eye sockets using fingers. Leave to harden.
STEP 5
Take shilpkar dough and make other details like crown, moustache, eyes, ears, hands etc. Mark finer details using toothpick. Stick them using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Refer picture. Leave to harden.
STEP 6
Paint the figure using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black. Leave to dry. Dry brush using Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold. Leave to dry.
STEP 7
Apply 2 to 3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy finish. Leave to dry.
