You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, Prussian Blue 19, Turquoise Blue 22, Yellow Ochre 26, White 27, Vandyke Brown 37, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Plywood Panels 12” x 6” Size, A3 White Paper, White Carbon Paper, Pencil, Gold Leaf Sheets, Colour Palette, Water Container.
Description :
Exotic wall panels with gold leafing and texturing is what this next project will teach you. The black and gold makes this composition rich and regal.
STEP 1
- Take three plywood panels measuring 12” x 6” in size.
- We will make wall panels decorated with gold leafing and textured using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
STEP 2 : Paint the base coat
- Paint the panels with a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Draw and trace the design
- Take an A3 white paper. Draw lotus flowers with buds and leaves on two panels and a Tibetan motif on the third panel. Ensure the sizes are in accordance with the panels taken.
- Paint the panels with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Dark Brown 05, Prussian Blue 19, Turquoise Blue 22, Yellow Ochre 26, and Vandyke Brown 37
- Trace the design on the panels with white carbon paper.
- Outline the design with Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic - Gold 352.
- Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
- Paint the lotus flowers, leaves, and the buds with Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic - Gold 352.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Finishing touches
- We are going to create textures on the compositions on each of the panels, using Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry completely.
- Paint the lotus design with Acrylic Colour - Crimson 04 by enhancing the petals and the leaf in the center.
- Let it dry.
- Take the gold leaf and stick it randomly in the motif in the center using a little amount of Fabric Glue.
- Leave it to dry.
- Your panels with a Tibetan motif and lotuses will look like this.
