Colourful and vibrant rakhis made with a twist that would make your occasion all the more special. Add your favourite colour combinations and personalise it as per your fancy. Learn and teach kids how to make quilling rakhis with these neon coloured strips and see them look ever so proud once it is ready.
STEP 1
Create a thick ring using Hobby Ideas 5mm neon quilling strips of diameter 1.5” inch by rolling 3 to 4 lilac coloured strip to make a thick ring.
STEP 2
Make 9 tightly quilled rolls from the green and yellow coloured quilling strips.
STEP 3
Similarly, make 9 small petal shapes from the quilled forms
STEP 4
Arrange the rolls and petals in an aesthetic manner and stick the entire rakhi using Fevicol MR.
STEP 5
Take a funny picture of your brother, cut it into the shape of a rakhi.
STEP 6
Stick the photograph from the reverse side of the rakhi using Fevicol MR so that the ring becomes your frame.
STEP 7
Stick the rakhi on a broad lilac satin ribbon using Fevicol MR to complete the rakhi.
