You Will Need:

Here is a platter that is different and cute, these are parrot shaped platters placed on a plank. Painted in exotic shades and arranged so well to create a different kind of wall decor element for any home.

STEP 1 : Mix fevicryl Mouldit

Take Fevicryl Mouldit - resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to form an even dough.
We are going to make platters in the shape of parrots and mount them on a wooden plank, as home décor.

STEP 2 : Make a slab

Roll it to make a thin slab with a rolling pin.
Let it semi dry.

STEP 3 : Make the platter shape

Draw two parrots on it by leaving a ½” border from all the side, lift it to create borders later.
Your parrot shaped platters with clay would look like this.

STEP 4 : Paint the platter

Paint the platters with a base coat of Acrylic Colour - White 27.
Let it dry.

STEP 5 : Create the wooden effect

Take a wooden plank.
Take some clay to create, wooden graphs on it using Fabric Glue for sticking
Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Paint the birds

Paint the platters in a shading manner using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl - Blue 305, Pearl Black 306, Pearl Desert Gold 313, Pearl Orange 317, Sparkling Pearl Poppy Red 901, Orange 903, Sparkling Pearl Gold 912, Golden Green 911, Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Green 357 and Pearl Metallic Silver 351.
Let it dry.

STEP 7 : Paint the plank

Paint the plank with wooden graphs using Acrylic Colour - Dark Brown 05. Let it dry.
Mount and stick the three parrots on it with Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
Let it dry completely.
