Take a 12” x 16” Fine Art Canvas Board, cover the canvas by sticking the newspaper on it using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. We are going to make a mixed media canvas with tribal face of a lady using mediums like Newspaper, Cords, Fevicryl Mouldit and Pom-poms. 

Draw the outline of the tribal lady on it using a pencil.  

Take any jali design stencil, create the emboss effect design on the background with a thick batter of Plaster of Paris and water. Let it dry. 

Paint the face of the lady using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Dark Brown 05, Sap Green 21, White 27 and Sky Blue 63. Let it dry. 

Stick the cords to make the beaded effect necklace till the shoulder line of the lady using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

Paint the cords with the effect of beads using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, Light Green 12, Maroon 14, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, Ultramarine Blue 23, Yellow Ochre 26, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Coral Red 66, Greenery 67 and Teal Blue 68. Let it dry. Make the head gear by sticking the assorted ornamental stones and the black cord using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.  

Take Fevicryl Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix well to make even dough. 

Take the dough to make floral shape pendant for the head gear with the help of the clay carving tools and Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Paint the pendant with Acrylic Colour Black 02, White 27 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry. Stick the clay pendant in the center of the head gear using Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Take the colourful pom-poms, Kawari shells and pieces of fabric to make the Latkan's using needle and thread. Attach the latkan as the earrings in the portrait. 

Paint the jali background with a light colour wash using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Teal Blue 68. let it dry. Your tribal lady with mixed media is ready!
