Terracotta Mugs
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Mauve 15, Prussian Blue 19 , Violet 25, White 27, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Fevicryl Neon Outliners Orange, Yellow, Fine Art Brushes, White Pencil, Terracotta Mugs, Colour Palette, Water Container, Old Toothbrush.
Description :
I simply fell in love with these mugs when they were ready. Sprayed colours using an old toothbrush and enhanced using 3D Neon Liners to make a random cactus it was taken to the next level altogether. The shadings and the Neon Liners have contrasted very well. Try this technique on anything that is terracotta, a platter, plate, a jug etc.STEP 1
Take plain terracotta mug.
STEP 2
Paint the mugs with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
Paint the mugs in shading effect using Acrylic Colours Mauve 15, Prussian Blue 19 , Violet 25, White 27 and Deep Brilliant Purple 64 respectively. Spray the mugs with Acrylic Colour White 27 using a toothbrush.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 3
Draw a cactus on the mugs with white pencil.
STEP 4
Paint the cactus with a doodle design using Neon Outliners Orange and Yellow.
Leave it to dry.
