You Will Need:

Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours (Sky Blue, Orange, Leaf Green, Violet, Sap Green, Salmon Pink, Lemon Yellow, Magenta, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre), Corrugated Sheets, White Cotton Fabric, A4 Size Paper, Flat Brush, Pencil, Scale, Paper Scissors, Fabric Scissors, Flat Brush for Glue Application, Paper Cutter, Decorative Materials Like Stones, Cut Dana, Half Cut Pearl Etc, Rough Cloth.

Description :
The tangram is a dissection puzzle consisting of seven flat polygons, called tans, which are put together to form shapes. Learn how to create this simple yet unique game using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.


STEP 1 : Create a Layout
• As tangram is a game with already exists, it is easier to find the measurements online. • Take 4” x 4” square and divide it into shapes as seen above.
STEP 2
• Cut along the lines as seen in the image above using paper scissors.
STEP 3 : Take few pieces of corrugated sheet
• These sheets can be recycled from any old parcel box. No requirement to buy. • Make sure that the sheets are sturdy and in a good condition to be used. • Use one sheet for the blocks and one sheet to make the base.
STEP 4 : Marking on the corrugated sheets for base.
• Draw 3 squares measuring 4.5” x 4.5” as seen in the image • Also draw 12 strips measuring 4.5” x 0.5” as seen in the image.
STEP 5
Cut the marked squares and strips using paper scissors.
STEP 6 : Cut the pieces
• Cut the edges of the strips as seen in the image above using paper scissors. • This method with help in sticking the strips next to each other easily.
STEP 7 : Creating of blocks
• Take the 1st image reference and draw the blocks on another corrugated sheet. • Make sure to have 3 sets of each shape. • These shapes are stuck to each other to make a single block. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them. • Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Sticking of the base
• Stick the 3 sets of the base together as well using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. • Let it dry.
STEP 9 : Arrange the blocks
Arrange the blocks to see if any tweaking needs to be done and if your measurements are fine.
STEP 10
Cut 2 pieces of cotton fabric measuring 5 inches for the base.
STEP 11
• Stick the fabric piece on one side and give small cuts to the corner as seen in the image. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick it.
STEP 12 : Stick the edges
• Stick the edges neatly using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. • Let it dry
STEP 13 : Stick fabric
• Stick the other fabric piece on the opposite side following the same technique. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick. • Let it dry
STEP 14 : Cut the strip
• Cut a strip measuring about 1.5 cm and fold it from both sides to create a neat long strip. • The length of the strip depends on which piece it is being used on • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to make this strip. • Let it dry
STEP 15
• Stick the strip along the edges of the square base as shown in the image. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them.
STEP 16 : The base pieces are ready
• Follow the same method as we did to create the square base to finish the rest of the pieces. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them. • Let it dry.
STEP 17
Repeat the same process with the blocks as well.
STEP 18
All the block pieces are ready.
STEP 19 : Create the base
• Stick all the pieces of the base as shown in the image above • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them. • Let it dry.
STEP 20
Place the blocks in the base and see if any adjustments need to be made.
STEP 21
• Paint the base and the blocks using the Acrylic Colours that are mentioned in the material list. • Let it dry.
STEP 22 : Embellishments
• Stick stones, cutdana, half cut pearl etc on different blocks and the base to give it a final look. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them • Let it dry.
