Create a clay tablet featuring Goddess Durga and the Demon in miniature mural style.

STEP 1 : Prepare the clay and make the slab

Mix Fevicryl Mouldit resin base and hardener to create a smooth dough.

Roll the dough into a medium-thin slab using a rolling pin. This will serve as the base for your clay tablet.

STEP 2 : Build the 2D idol with clay

Draw a simple outline of Goddess Durga standing on the Demon (with a bull head) and holding a trident (Trishul) on a 4” x 7” slab.

Build the figures of Durga and the demon using clay and stick them with Fabric Glue. Let the clay dry.

STEP 3 : Paint the Durga and demon

Apply a base coat of Acrylic Colour Black 02, then wipe it with a rag to keep the colour in the grooves.

Use Acrylic Colours Orange 17, White 27, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, and Pearl Metallic Gold 352 to enhance the figures of Durga, the demon, and the Trishul. Let the tablet dry.
