Spoon Holder

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Non Sticky Shilpkar, Fevicryl Sparkling Pearl Colours - Golden Green 911, Golden Black 917, Fevicryl No Stitch fabric Glue Pencil, Eraser, Paper Cutter, Rolling Pin, A4 sized Drawing Sheet, Red Carbon Paper

Description :

Give a designer look to your regular spoons and forks and make a matching set with a spoon holder, you may also make the napkin holders to match this set

STEP 1
Mix Non Sticky Shilpkar Resin Base and Hardener to form an even dough and roll it into a slab Make six small rectangular slabs little larger in size than the design selected for the handles of the spoon
STEP 2
Trace the design on the slabs using a carbon paper Make the grooves deeper using a blunt tip of a pencil Attach another slab of the same size on the reverse side keeping a gap for the spoon handle to fit in properly Leave it to dry.
STEP 3
Mix Shilpkar Resin Base and Hardener and make a rectangular slab of 20'' long and 4'' in height Fold the slab at an equal distance length wise and make it into a spoon holder Attach a square slab from one side for the base of the spoon holder
STEP 4
Trace another 4 slabs with the Mayan characters proportionate to the sizes of the spoon holder and make deeper grooves using a pencil with a blunt tip Stick the characters on the 4 walls of the spoon holder
STEP 5
Colour the spoon holder by mixing Sparkling Pearl Colours Golden Green and Golden Black Leave it to dry
STEP 6
Also colour the spoon ends by mixing Sparkling Pearl Colours Golden Green and Golden Black Leave it to dry
STEP 7
Fix the spoon ends to the spoons using No Stitch Fabric Glue
