You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours – Black 202, Orange 217, Light Green 212, Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Cones - Yellow 703, White 707, Red 701, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, 8”x 8” Sized Wooden Decoupage Square Placemat Water Container, Paper Cutter, Foil Mirrors – Big and Small, Floral Stencil, Sponge

Description :

Add an ethnic touch to your Dipawali celebrations. Make this rangoli that has been inspired by the traditional designs in Kutchi embroideries of Gujarat by simply painting it using a whole wide range of Liquid Embroidery Colours

STEP 1
Take a wooden square placemat and paint it using Acrylic Colour – Black You may give two coats for an even finish Leave it to dry
STEP 2
Cut out a floral stencil pattern in an OHP sheet You may choose the floral pattern of your choice or refer to the image Sponge dab the floral pattern in the centre of the placemat using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours – Orange and Light Green
STEP 3
Border the petals of the flower with dots using Liquid Embroidery - White, Yellow and Red Arrange the foil mirrors and draw dots around the mirrors for sticking as a design
STEP 4
The placemat is bordered using bigger dots of Liquid Embroidery colours of your choice Place and press the foil mirrors on the dots The Liquid Embroidery colours will form the ring around the foil mirrors
