Description :

Create a stunning peacock-shaped Haldi-Kumkum holder using recycled bottle lids and Fevicryl Mouldit clay, beautifully painted with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours. This eco-friendly craft is perfect for festivals and home decor.

STEP 1 : Prepare the Base
  • We are going to make a peacock-shaped Haldi-Kumkum holder using the lids of empty Fevicryl Acrylic Colours 500ml bottles and Mouldit.
STEP 2 : Prepare the Clay and Decorate the Lids
  • Take Mouldit resin and hardener, mix well to make an even dough. Roll the dough to make coils.
  • Twist the coils and stick them around the lid using Fabric Glue.
STEP 3 : Build the Peacock Shape
  • Take some clay to shape the peacock up to the neckline. Attach the peacock head to the lid using Fabric Glue. Add coil designs on the neck of the peacock with clay. Let it dry.

STEP 4 : Paint the Peacock with Base Coat
  • Paint the peacock with a base coat of Acrylic Colour Black 02. Wipe off the colour with a rough rag. Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Final Look
  • Paint the peacock with a shading effect using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Light Green 12, White 27, Pearl Blue 305, and Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry.
  • You can use the lids to hold Haldi and Kumkum during festivals, placing it in front of any idol.
