Paper Christmas Tree With Paper Craft And Quilling

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours – Crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, White 27, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Glitter – Gold 401, Fevicol MR, Paper Crimper, 5mm and 10mm Thick Quilling Strips, Slotted Quilling Tool, Oval Placemat, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Tinted Paper – Green, Scissors, Water Container

This mini paper Christmas tree is a beautiful table top decoration made simply using paper and paper quills. Decorate your dining table or simply gift it to your friends. This colourful Christmas trees made with a personal touch is sure to bring smiles on people's faces

 

STEP 1
Take an oval shaped MDF wooden plaque Take an empty tissue roll for the bark of the tree Stick the tissue roll on one side of the plaque with Fevicol MR
STEP 2
Paint the wooden oval plaque with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - White and tissue roll with Dark Brown Leave it to dry.
STEP 3
Take green coloured card paper Draw and cut 4 circles measuring 5”, 4”, 3” and 2” in sizes
STEP 4
Cut the slit in each circle up till the centre Make cones by sticking the ends, overlapping them using Fevicol MR. Let it dry
STEP 5
Once the cones are made, make fine fringes on the bottom edges. Do the same for all the circles.
STEP 6
Start building the Christmas tree by starting with the biggest circle on the tissue roll and ending with the smallest. Stick each coned circle with Fevicol MR. Leave it to dry.
STEP 7
To make the star for the tree top take the quilling strips of of your choice.
STEP 8
Quill the strips and make loose coils out of it. Make 5 such coils. Shape the coils into a leaf shape by pinching both the ends.
STEP 9
Arrange and stick the leaf shapes to form the flower
STEP 10
Take the paper crimper and run 10 mm quilling strips through the crimper to get the corrugated effect on the paper Make them in different colours Shape them into gift boxes with ribbons and bows made with quilling strips. Arrange and stick these gift boxes randomly around and beneath the tree with Fevicol MR. Add glimmer to the entire creation by dotting the tree randomly with Fevicryl 3D Outliner Glitter – Gold 401 and with few loose quilled coils. Paint the rim of the plaque with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Crimson 04. Let it dry. Stick the star on the top of the Christmas tree.
