Make this mixed media artwork using things which we are thinking of throwing away, recreate and decorate your wall or shelves with this wonderful creation.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take any old coffee mugs, paint the mugs by adding chalk powder in Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27 to get the rough surface. Let it dry.

STEP 2 : Make the shapes

Make the mixed media on the mugs using various elements like wooden buttons, hand of zip, ready cutouts of flowers, wooden beads, leaves, thread coils, few flowers and twisted coils with Fevicryl Mouldit (by mixing resin base and hardener to get the dough) using Fevicryl Fabric Glue for sticking. Similarly stick the dancing cutout figures of the man and women on the top side of the arrangement with Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Paint them with a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27.

STEP 3 : Paint the design

Paint the figures, the mug with the mixed media elements in shading manner using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pink 303, Green 304, Pearl Blue 305, Lilac 307, Cherry Red 316, Sky Blue 319, Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Copper 353 and Bronze 355.

STEP 4 : Take two oval placemats

Take two oval placemats measuring approximately 8” x 5” in size. Paint the effect of the bricks on the placemats with Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

STEP 5 : Paint the placemats

Paint the placemats in shading manner with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27, Pink 303, Golden Yellow 308, Rose Pink 310, Cherry Red 316, Copper 353 and Bronze 355.

STEP 6 : Final look

Stick the mixed media mugs on the placemat with a little amount of dough and Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Take the ready cut out of the butterfly, stick the butterfly on the top side of the placemat with Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry completely.
