Make this unique platter using Fevicryl Mouldit, Acrylic Colour and Glass Colours and adorn your dinning table with this showpiece
Take a corrugated sheet, draw and cut the oval shape, approx. of size 8” x 5 ½” broad. We are going to make the platter with Fevicryl Mouldit and corrugated sheet for the base to make it light weight.
Take Fevicryl Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix to make an even dough.
Take the dough, roll it to make a thin slab with rolling pin.
Cover the oval slab by keeping ½” extra from all the sides further to make the edges of the platter. Make the base shape of the flower, stem and make the actual Mango leaf impression on the slab to make the leaf of the flower using clay carving tools and paste the dough using Fevicryl Fabric Glue for sticking. Turn up the extra clay on the periphery of the oval to make the even edges for the platter. Let it dry completely.
Paint the platter with little rustic effect on the leaf using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Dark Brown 05, Lemon Yellow 11, Sap Green 21, White 27 and Fevicryl Glass Colour White to get the ceramic look on the platter. Let it dry completely.
