You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, White 27, Orange 17, Carmine 39, Crimson 04, Crome Yellow 03, Olive Green 16, Yellow Ochre 26, Vandyke Brown 37, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette Water Container, Yellow and Red Carbon Paper, A3 Size White Drawing Paper, ¼ Inch Sized Masking Tape, Pencil, Eraser, White T-Shirt
Description :
This complicated looking design is actually painted in a very simple way
by using a combination of colour resist technique and brush painting. Give it a try and you will know it by yourself.
STEP 1
Create a design with faces in the square measuring 12 X 12 inches in size, on an A3 sized drawing paper
STEP 2
Take a pre washed white T-shirt
STEP 3
Trace the linear design first without the faces using yellow carbon paper
Cover the vertical lines in the design with a masking tape, as a colour resist
STEP 4
Colour the design in shades of Acrylic Colours - White, Orange, Carmine, Crimson, Chrome Yellow, Olive Green, Yellow Ochre and Vandyke Brown
STEP 5
Now trace the faces by using red carbon paper on the coloured area
STEP 6
Paint the faces with bold strokes of Acrylic Colour – Black
