Newspaper Rings Basket
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic - Gold 352, Fevicol MR, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter - Silver 402, Hobby Ideas 5 mm Quilling Strips - Light Green, Dark Green , Hobby Ideas Flower Punch, A4 Sized Colour Card Paper Red, Orange, Newspaper.

This best out of waste project is a rather unique one that makes use of newspapers in a very innovative manner. It’s such a basic and simple concept which has been treated creatively to make a basket that can be placed in the centre of your dining table or living room for utility purposes. The pretty punched flowers around the basket renders that element of it being ever so delicate. A great idea for your future best out of waste project.STEP 1
Take recycled newspapers.
Roll the newspapers into thin and flat strips. Stick the edges with Fevicol MR.
Make about 40 such strips.
STEP 2
Take recycled newspapers.
Roll the newspapers into thin and flat strips. Stick the edges with Fevicol MR.
Make about 40 such strips.
STEP 3
Roll the flat strips to make the rings.
You will need about 32 rings as shown in the picture.
STEP 4
Stick the remaining 16 rings to make the edges / wall of the basket with Fevicol MR.
Leave it to dry.
After drying paint the basket using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic - Gold 352 on to it.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 5
For making the paper punch flowers take orange and red coloured or any colour card paper of your choice and punch about 170 flowers.
Cut a slit till the centre of each flower.
Overlap the petals on one another like at first you have to overlap one petal and gradually with two petals and three petals.
Refer to the image.
STEP 6
Stick and assemble the overlapped flowers to make one flower as shown in the picture using Fevicol MR.
Let it dry.
STEP 7
Take green coloured quilling strips, quill them to make spiral creepers.
Arrange and stick the punched flowers and the green quilled spiral creeper aesthetically on the basket using Fevicol MR.
Leave it to dry.
Enhance the centre of each punched flower with Fevicryl Non Sticky Glitter – Silver 402.
