Take newspaper sheets.
Mark and cut 7 different sized squares measuring 7”, 6” 5”, 4”, 3”, 2”, 1” respectively.
STEP 2
Make the cones out of it, secure the ends with Fevicol MR.
Let it dry.
Make about 70 to 80 cones for one flower approximately.
STEP 3
Take an A4 sized card paper.
Draw and cut a 3” diameter circle.
Start sticking the bigger sized cones first in a radiating manner using Fevicol MR.
STEP 4
Make sure that when you are sticking the cones start with the bigger followed by the smaller ones.
Your flower will look like this at this stage.
Let it dry.
STEP 5
Stick the round shaped mirror in the centre of each flower with Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.
STEP 6
Take a wooden stick and wind a copper coloured thread around it by leaving some distance between the two clusters.
STEP 7
Paste the flowers on the stick with Fabric Glue.
You can use these flower sticks as a backdrop for your Ganesh idol.
