You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, Indian Red 10, Orange 17, Turquoise Blue 22, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Teal Blue 68, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Plastic Bottles from Scrap, Rolling Pin, Paper Cutter, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :

As you all know, Mosaic Art is a picture or pattern that is made by placing together small coloured stones, pieces of glass, etc. We have tried recreating the same effect using Fevicryl Mouldit and Acrylic Colours.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

We are going to make the mosaic design on the bottles. Take 2 plastic bottles which are in Pear fruit shape (you can take any shape to make mosaic).

STEP 2 : Prepare the dough

Take Fevicryl Mouldit Resin base & hardener, mix well to form an even soft dough.

STEP 3 : Prepare the slab

Take the dough, roll it to make a medium thick slab with a rolling pin.

STEP 4 : Cut the mosaic pieces

Mark and cut mosaic pieces in round and square shapes

STEP 5 : Paint the base coat

Paint the bottle with the base coat using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02 and the other with White 27. Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Build the mosaic design

Start sticking the mosaic pieces on the bottles by making the patterns on the black bottle using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

STEP 7 : Mosaic look of bottle

The mosaic work on the bottle will look like this.

STEP 8 : Paint the mosaic design

Paint both the Mosaic bottles with warm and cool colours using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, Indian Red 10, Orange 17, Turquoise Blue 22, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Sky Blue 63 and Teal Blue 68. Let it dry.

STEP 9 : Final Look

Your pear fruit shaped bottle with mosaic design will look like this.
