You Will Need:

Influenced by Morocco comes these pretty earrings, made with Mouldit and Acrylic Colours. The textures and patterns engraved on the earrings are typical to the Moroccan style and how they would design it.

STEP 1 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit

We are going to make a pair of earrings, inspired by the Berber tribe of Morocco using Fevicryl Mouldit.
Take Mouldit - resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to form an even dough.

STEP 2 : Clay slab technique

Roll the dough to make a thick slab with a rolling pin.
Mark and cut a rectangle measuring 2 ½” x 3 ½” in size.
Make a slight turn towards the upper side of the slab.

STEP 3 : Make the design

Take some clay, roll it to make thin coils. Let them get coils semi dry.
Make a simple design by sticking the coils on the rectangular slab using Fabric Glue.
Make and attach the loops with coil below the rectangle slab with Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.

STEP 4 : Make the slab

The completed coil design on the rectangular slab for the earrings will look like this.

STEP 5 : Make the beads

We are going to make decorative beads with clay.
Mark and cut conical petals from the clay slab.
Take the coil and stick it on the petal to make the coil design using Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Final attachment

Attach three conical petals together to make a bead shaped using Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.

STEP 7 : Make the flowers

Take the clay and make a loop for each of the conical shaped beads, sticking it with Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.
Take the clay to make small flowers with layered petal emboss effect bead in the center of the flower sticking the parts together with Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry completely.

STEP 8 : Final look

Stick the flower in the center of the rectangle with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
Make 2 such rectangular slab designs to make the earrings.
Paint the rectangle earrings with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Orange 17, White 27, Water Based - Glass Colours - Golden Yellow, Sea Blue, and Ultramarine Blue.
Leave it to dry completely.
Attach the conical shaped beads to the rectangle earrings with a metal ring.
Attach the earring attachments neatly.
