You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Bronze 355, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, 16” x 20” Fine Art Stretched Canvas, Pieces Of Leather (Black & Brown Coloured), Metal Zip, Wooden Beads, Black Coloured Plastic Beads, Mixed Glitter Powder, Zardozi Thread, Brown Coloured Wool, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, A3 Sized White Paper, Water Container, Colour Palette, Recycled CD’s, Mirrors (medium sized round, leaf & square shaped), Old Guitar, Mosaic Tile (small & medium sized), Mosaic Tile (medium sized glazed).
Description :
Elvis Presley the “King of Rock and Roll” who was a rage in his times is what we have captured on this canvas. Using various mixed materials like the actual leather for the shoulder lines and a lot of bling radiating to depict that era and those times.Sparkling mosaic chips have been brought together in a pattern to give this guitar a vintage look. It looks so beautiful and can be hung on a feature wall in your music room or study. It would be a great gift that would be appreciated by someone who plays instruments or a guitar for that matter.
STEP 1
Take an A3 sized white paper.
Draw the outline of the king pop Elvis Presley on it.
Take a 16” x 20” stretched canvas and trace the face on it using yellow carbon paper.
STEP 2
Paint the face using Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Flesh Tint 30 by adding a little White 27 in the shades.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 3
Take pieces of brown and black leather.
Cut the leather pieces to make the pop singers jacket aesthetically along with the metal zip for the jacket.
STEP 4
Stick the cut leather pieces and the metal zip with Fabric Glue to give a realistic look to the jacket.
Take a small piece of leather, cut the fringes with a pair of scissors.
Enhance the jacket by sticking the fringed leather pieces along with the woollen strands and the beads on the shoulders with Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.
Take the small piece of leather cut the strap to make the wrist watch.
Stick the strap on the wrist watch along with the zardozi thread and the glitter powder using Fabric Glue to give a realistic look to the watch.
STEP 5
Draw and paint the radiating lines in the background of Elvis Presley's image using Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic - Bronze 355.
Leave it for semi dry and then sprinkle glitter powder on it.
Leave it to dry completely.
Mosaic guitar
STEP 6
Take an old guitar which can be revamped to make beautiful mosaic guitar.
STEP 7
Paint the guitar with Acrylic Colour - White 27.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 8
Take medium sized round, leaf & square shaped mirrors, mosaic tiles - small & medium sized and medium sized glazed mosaic tile pieces to make the mosaic pattern.
STEP 9
Stick the medium sized round, leaf & square shaped mirrors, mosaic tiles small & medium sized and medium sized glazed mosaic tile pieces on the guitar aesthetically using Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.
