• We are going to make the MDF rangoli design with peacock. • Take the plain MDF cut out design of the peacock to make the Rangoli design for the festival of lights. • Paint the MDF base with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. • Let it dry.

• We are going to enhance the body, the feathers and the flower design below the peacock with Mouldit. • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

• Take the dough to make the shape of the tear drop to make the feather fan of the peacock. Let it get semi dry. • Take some dough to make the coils. Let it get semi dry. • Stick the feathers appropriately on the MDF rangoli using Fabric Glue. • Similarly stick the coils to border the feather using Fabric Glue. • Take some clay to give the emboss effect to the flower and the leaf. • Take the clay carving tools and create the texture on wings of the peacock, the centre of the flower and the leaves. • Let the clay work dry completely.

• Paint the peacock rangoli design using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl Blue 305, Acrylic Colours Sparkling Pearl Orange 903, Turquoise Blue 905, Golden Green 911, Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Water Based Glass Colours Tomato Red, Golden Yellow, Sea Blue, Orange, Crystal Green and Brown • Leave it to dry completely. • Enhance the rangoli by sticking the assorted ornamental stones and the ball chain using Fabric Glue. • Let it dry.
