Love Photo Frame With Stippling
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Crimson 04, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, MDF Wooden Decoupage Love – Photoframe , Water Container, A3 Sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Ruler, Sponge
Description :
This LOVE photoframe is painted using Acrylic Colours and stippling painting technique. You can use this effect to create shading using dots
STEP 1
Take an MDF wooden decoupage photoframe
STEP 2
Give a base coat of pink made by mixing Acrylic Colours - Crimson and White
Leave it to dry
You may give two to three coats for an even finish
STEP 3
Draw a mirror reflection of the word LOVE stretched on the lower side of the photoframe as shown in the image
You may first trace the photoframe on paper and draw the mirror image on the paper and then trace it on the frame
STEP 4
Stipple small even dots using a thin round brush from the base of the letter "L"
The intensity of the dots is more dense towards the base and goes decreasing as you go upwards
STEP 5
Repeat the same for the other letters to complete "LOVE"
STEP 6
The reflection drawn below is stippled in Acrylic Colour – White, the dots are denser on the edges and decreased inside
STEP 7
Leave a border of about 2 mm around the reflection drawn and colour the remaining background in a shade of blue made by mixing Acrylic Colours - Cerulean Blue and Black
STEP 8
Stipple with Acrylic Colour - White on the edges of the photoframe to give the final finished look
STEP 9
Insert the photograph of your loved ones and display it on the table top or hang it on the wall
