Love Frame With Mosaic Hearts
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours White 27, Fevicryl 3 D Cone Outliner Non Sticky White 707, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours ( Pink, Tomato Red, White, Orange), Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Plain Wooden Photo Frame, Artistry Ink – Fancy Fuchsia, Pencil, Heart Shape Cookie Cutter, Rolling Pin, Hacksaw Blade, OHP Sheet, Colour Palette, Water Container.

STEP 1 : Mixing Mouldit Clay
• Take the Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Rolling the dough
• Take the dough; roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin.
• Leave it till semi dry.
STEP 3 : Making a check pattern
• Take a hack saw blade and create a checkered pattern on the slab.
STEP 4 : Cutting the heart motifs
• Take heart shaped cookie cutters of three different sizes and cut the hearts out of the slab. Remove the excess clay.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 5 : Heart cut outs
• Your heart cut outs will look like this.
STEP 6 : Painting the hearts
• Paint the hearts with shades of red and pink using Water Based Glass Colours Tomato Red, Pink Orange and White to give them a ceramic effect.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 7 : Paint the wooden frame
• Take wooden photo frame.
• Paint the frame with Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
• Make a scribble pattern on the frame with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Sticking the hearts
• Stick the painted hearts randomly on the frame with Fabric Glue.
• Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 9 : Giving finishing touches to the frame
• Paint the grooves of the mosaic heart with 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky White 707 to make it look more realistic.
• Paint the letters “LOVE” with Water Based Glass Colours Pink, Tomato Red, White and Orange. Leave it to dry.
• Highlight the frame by giving the distress effect using Artistry Ink fancy fuchsia towards the outer edge of the frame.
• Let it dry completely.
