You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Light Green 12, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Neon Pink 018, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, MDF Plank (4 ½” X 15”), A3 White Paper, Black Carbon Paper, Pencil, Clay Modelling Tools, Paper Cutter, Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :

Craft a stunning tealight holder with a lotus-inspired design, adding elegance to your festive décor.

STEP 1 : Prepare the Base
  • Take the MDF plank measuring 4 ½” X 15”.  

  • Paint the base coat with Acrylic Colour White 27 and let it dry.  

  • Draw a lotus design on A3 paper and trace it onto the plank using black carbon paper. 

STEP 2 : Prepare the clay & build the design
  • Mix the Mouldit resin and hardener to make a smooth dough.  

  • Roll the dough into coils and create petal shapes.  

  • Stick the petals and coils onto the plank, following the traced design, using Fabric Glue. Let it dry completely. 

STEP 3 : Paint the base coat

Apply another base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27 over the design. Let it dry thoroughly. 

STEP 4 : Paint the lotus design

Use Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Light Green 12, Cerulean Blue 32, Neon Pink 018, and White 27 to bring the lotus design to life. Let the paint dry. 

STEP 5 : Final look
  • Place a tealight in the centre of the design to complete the lotus tealight holder.  

  • Enjoy the beautiful festive glow!
