How gorgeous is this bottle with a fusion of Lippan and Madhubani Art, follow the DIY steps and create your own artistic bottle.
STEP 1 : Procure the base & paint the base coat
- Take a plain glass bottle from scrap.
- We are going to make a combination of two different art forms to create this beautiful design on the bottle.
STEP 2 : Paint the base coat.
- Paint it with a base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27 by adding Talcum powder in the colour. Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Draw and trace the design
- Take A4 white paper, draw Madhubani peacock motif along with a border design on it in the size of the bottle.
- Trace the same design on the bottle with black carbon paper.
- Refer to the image for the placement.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
- Paint the design with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Orange 17, Pink 18, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27 and Teal Blue 68. Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Make the coil design
- Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix well to make even dough.
- Take the dough, roll it to make thin coils.
- Use plastic ruler/ scale and talcum powder for making even coils.
- Let the coils get semi dry.
STEP 6 : Enhancement of the design
- Stick these coils to enhance the outline as well as the design using Fabric Glue. Stick them aesthetically.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 7 : Final look
- Stick the assorted mirrors in between the motifs using Fabric Glue to get the look of Lippan Art. Let it dry.
