You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Pearl Colours - Turquoise Blue 520, Rose Pink 510, Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Glitter – Silver 402, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, Natural White Clay , Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette , Water Container, OHP Sheet, Small Ornamental Stones (white), Talcum Powder, Paper Cutter, Sponge, Rolling Pin, 1 Small Clay Diya, Small Sized Peepal Leaf From The Garden

Description :

Make small and big leaf shaped diyas this Deepawali season. Take a leaf impression on a white coloured natural clay and model them into diya shapes. Colour them in Sparkling or Pearls colours of your choice to add that extra glitter.

STEP 1

Take a lemon sized ball of white coloured natural clay

STEP 2

Make a thin slab using a rolling . the slab made is about 3mm thick

STEP 3

Take a small sized peeple leaf or any leaf of your choice from the garden Place the peepal leaf's rear side down on the slab and roll on the leaf using a rolling pin

STEP 4

Remove the leaf

STEP 5

Turn the edges upwards to make a diya shape Make 5 such diyas

STEP 6

Paint these leaf shaped diyas using Pearl Colours - Turquoise Blue and Rose Pink in a shading manner The clay diya in the centre is painted using Turquoise Blue

STEP 7

Make 2 parallel outlines of the leaf shape with Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Glitter - Silver on each diya Leave it to dry

STEP 8

Stick white coloured ornamental stones in between the two parallel lines using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue
