Korean Dancheong Pattern Tray
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Teal Blue 68, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic - Gold 352, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, 17” x 9” Plywood, A3 White Paper, White Carbon Paper, Pencil, Clay Carving Tools, Paper Cutter, Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :
Decorate a wooden tray with intricate Korean Dancheong patterns and moulded clay handles for an elegant and cultural aesthetic.

Take a plywood measuring 17”x 9” size approximately.

Take an A3 white paper, draw a Dancheong design in the size of plywood.

Paint the plywood with a base coat of Acrylic Colour Dark Brown 05 and let it dry completely.

Trace the Dancheong design onto the plywood using white carbon paper.

Paint the design with Acrylic Colours - Black, Crimson, Dark Brown, Golden Yellow, Orange, Sap Green, Ultramarine Blue, White, and Teal Blue. Let it dry.

Use Fevicryl Mouldit to sculpt handles for the tray, allowing it to dry completely.

Paint the handles with Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and let them dry.

Roll medium-thin clay coils, attach them to the tray border using Fabric Glue, and let them dry.

Paint the clay border with Pearl Metallic Gold. Attach the handles to the tray using Fabric Glue.
