• We are going to make the kite latkans with the pieces of fabric and Fabric colours. • Take cotton fabric pieces. We have taken yellow, pink and violet fabric pieces to make the kite. • Take an A4 white paper; draw three different designs for the kites on it. • Take the yellow fabric piece measuring 5” x 5” in size. • Trace the design for the kite measuring approximately 2 ½” x 2 ½” in size with yellow carbon paper. • Refer to the image.

• Paint the design with Fabric Colours Black 202, Crimson 204, Orange 217, Cerulean Blue 232 and Sky Blue 263. • Let it dry.

• Similarly take the piece of violet fabric in same size as of the yellow fabric pieces. • Paint the polka dots with Fabric Colour White 227 and Acrylic Colour Neon Pink 018. • Let it dry.

• Take a piece of sponge sheet. • Mark and cut the piece in the size of the kite out of it. • Refer to the Image.

• Take the painted kite and make the pouch out of it by sticking the three sides with Fabric Glue. • Let it dry. • Insert the sponge sheet inside the kite shape pouch and secure the ends with Fabric Glue. • Let it dry.

• Similarly make a cushion shape of the yellow kite with a triangular yellow tail. • Take the red fabric pieces to make the small cones sticking it with Fabric Glue. • Let it dry. • Attach the yellow thread with the cones using Fabric Glue. Let it dry. • Take the needle and the thread and attach the long tail of the cones to the kite neatly. • Attach the metal key chain ring on the top of the kite with a needle and thread

• Similarly make violet and pink kite latkans using Fabric Colours Black 202, Crimson 204, Mauve 215, Orange 217, Lemon Yellow 211, White 227, Cerulean Blue 232, Sky Blue 263 and Fabric Glue for sticking the edges. • Refer to the image.
