You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, White 27, Teal Blue 68, Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, 10” X 12” Fine Art Canvas Board, Fine Art Brushes, Clay Carving Tools, Pencil, Corrugated Box Flap, Paper Cutter, Metal Hooks, Colour Palette, Water Container

It is time to give your father a special handmade gift! How cool is this mixed media inspiration and we are sure that your father will love it too!

STEP 1 : Source the base
  • Let us make mixed media canvas with Scooter using corrugated box flap and Mouldit.
  • Take plain canvas measuring 10” x 12” in size.
STEP 2 : Paint the base.
  • Paint the canvas with Acrylic Colour Black 02.
  • Let it dry completely.
STEP 3 : Mixing Fevicryl Mouldit
  • We are going to give and emboss effect to a few parts of the scooter with Mouldit.
  • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 4 : Building the part of scooter
  • Take the corrugated box flap and the corrugated sheet.
  • Mark and cut the shape of the scooter out of it.
  • The basic shape will look like this. Build the form with emboss effect using Mouldit.
STEP 5 : Mould the parts with Mouldit
  • Take the dough, shape it to make a few parts of the scooter like the seat, the handle, the engine box, the tyres and the stepney appropriately with the help of clay carving tools.
  • Stick the parts appropriately using Fabric Glue.
STEP 6 : Stick the scooter on canvas
  • Stick the scooter on the painted canvas using Fabric Glue.
  • Paint the scooter with Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03,White 27 and Teal Blue 68
  • Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Typography and Finishing
  • Take the key holder hooks and stick it on the bottom edge of the canvas with little amount of Mouldit. Let it dry.
  • Write the message “My Dad Has Vespa And Happy Cool Father’s Day” on the canvas with Acrylic Colour Teal Blue 68.
  • Leave it to dry completely.
