Make this beautiful Bandhari print kettle using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour and add a touch of art to your home decor.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take a plain aluminum kettle. Paint the kettle with a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - White 27. Let it dry. We are going to paint a kettle with a Bandhani pattern.

STEP 2 : Draw and trace the design.

Draw a basic design on the kettle, by dividing the kettle base in a step pattern, to create a Bandhani pattern later.

STEP 3 : Paint the base coat

Paint the step pattern with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Light Green 12, Orange 17, and Cerulean Blue 32. Let it dry.

STEP 4 : Enhance the design

Paint some areas of the lid, handle and the spout of the kettle with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Light Green 12 and Dark Green 06. Let it dry. Paint the Bandhani patterns on the painted base of the kettle with Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27 and Deep Brilliant Purple 64. Leave it to dry.

STEP 5 : Finishing touches

Similarly, paint a few Bandhani dots on the lid, and the spout with Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 03 & White 27. Leave it to dry. Cover the plastic handle on the kettle by winding jute yarn with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Final look

Your Bandhani design kettle will look like this.
