Create a stunning interwoven patterned mandala inside a wooden bowl using Mouldit and acrylic colors. This project involves painting the bowl, tracing the mandala design, sculpting the clay shapes, and painting the final coat.

STEP 1 : Procure the Base and trace the design
  • Take a wooden bowl. Paint the inside of the bowl with a base coat of Acrylic Colour Indian Red 10. Let it dry.
  • Draw the mandala design with an interwoven pattern on A3 white paper.
  • Trace the design inside the bowl using white carbon paper.
STEP 2 : Prepare the Clay and build the design
  • Mix Fevicryl Mouldit resin base and hardener thoroughly to create an even dough.
  • Sculpt shapes according to the design, such as tear-drop shapes or longish petals, from the clay dough.
  • Stick the clay shapes appropriately onto the design inside the bowl using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Finishing of clay work
  • Once dry, your clay mandala design inside the bowl will be complete.
STEP 4 : Paint the Clay Work Design
  • Paint the clay design with Acrylic Colour White 27. Ensure an even coat and let it dry completely.
