Incense Stick Holder
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Dark Brown 05, White 27, Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Clay Modelling Tools, Pencil, Rolling Pin, Paper Cutter, Colour Palette, Water Container
Description :
Craft a beautiful and functional incense stick holder using Mouldit clay and vibrant Fevicryl Acrylic Colours. This project blends clay modelling with creative painting for a stunning decorative piece.
STEP 1 : Prepare the clay
- We are going to make the incense stick holder using Mouldit and Acrylic Colours.
- Mix Fevicryl Mouldit resin and hardener to create an even dough.
- Roll the dough into a medium-thin slab using a rolling pin.
STEP 2 : Make and Cut the Flower Shape
- Draw a flower shape on the slab and cut it out using a paper cutter.
STEP 3 : Engrave the Design
- Use clay modelling tools to engrave a design on the floral slab once it is semi-dry.
- Create a cylindrical bead shape from the clay to hold the incense stick.
- Attach the holder in the center of the flower using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Shape the Incense Stick Holder
- Place the flower incense stick holder in a plate to achieve the desired depth and shape.
STEP 5 : Paint the Incense Stick Holder
- Paint the holder with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01 and Dark Brown 05.
Wipe off the colour from the base with a rough rag. Let it dry
STEP 6 : Paint the Finishing Touches
- Add finishing touches using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Final Look
- Your incense stick holder is complete and will look like this.
