You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colors Black 02, White 27, Teal Blue 68, Fevicryl Acrylic Colors Pearl Metallic Copper 353, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Non Sticky Shilpkar, Fine Art Brushe, Color Palette, Water Container, Paper Cutter, 12” x12” Sized Wooden Frame, A3 Sized OHP Sheet, Pencil, Silver Thread, Scissors, A3 sized white paper, Rolling Pin.

Description :

Impossible is possible with this hero of product called Shilpkar, it just requires a bit of imagination. On this World Creativity and Innovation Day learn how to make tree with clay. Let your imagination run wild and make something out of the box using clay modeling.

STEP 1

Take an A3 white paper; draw a square measuring 12” x 12” in size. Draw a tree of life with spiral branches in the square.

STEP 2

Take Shilpkar resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

STEP 3

Take the dough and roll it to make medium thin coils. The coils should be of even thickness. You will need 3 Shilpkar packs to make the coils for the tree with the branches. Similarly take some dough, roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin to make the bark of the tree.

STEP 4

Place an A3 sized OHP sheet on the drawing. Place the rolled slab on the drawing and cut it accordingly to make the bark of the tree. Similarly place the spiral coils, sticking it with the Fabric Glue to make the branches of the tree. Leave it to dry.

STEP 5

Your tree will look like this.

STEP 6

Take some dough; roll it to make the medium thin slab. Draw and cut the shape of the bird cage with a loop for dangling. Enhance the bird cage with thin tiny coils of the clay using Fabric Glue. Refer to the image.

STEP 7

Take the wooden frame measuring 12” x 12” in size Paint the frame with Acrylic Colour White 27 as the base coat. Let it dry.

STEP 8

Paint the frame again with Acrylic Colour Teal Blue 68. Leave it to dry. Paint the tree with antique copper effect using Acrylic colours Black 02 and Acrylic colours pearl metallic copper 353. Let it dry. Paint the bird cage with clay using Acrylic colour Teal Blue 68. Let it dry. Stick the tree of life on the frame with Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry. Dangle the painted cage on one of the branch of the tree with silver thread. Your tree of life with clay is ready.
