STEP 1 : Doing the base coat.
• Take a plain terracotta garba pot to decorate it for the occasion of Navratri Pooja.
• Wash the pot thoroughly further for better result.
• Paint the garba pot with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
• The white colour will work as a primer.
STEP 2 : Placing of the motif
• Paint the dots in different sizes around the holes on the pot using Acrylic Colours Cerulean Blue 32, Neon Yellow 011, Green 012, Orange 017 and Pink 018.
• While painting the dots of different sized using the rear side of the brushes, barbeque stick and the tooth pick.
• Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Painting the pot
• Your pot will look like this after painting using dotillism technique.
STEP 4 : Painting the background
• Paint the background of the dots with Acrylic colour Cerulean Blue 32.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 5 : Embellishing the pot
• Enhance the Garba pot by sticking foil and glass mirrors around the carved holes and on the edges of the pot using Fabric Glue.
• Let it dry.
